Judicial Experience
     Lake Circuit Court magistrate 7/1/95 to 3/2/07: Served hearing cases from motions to bench/jury trials in: torts, eminent domain, contract and commercial disputes,  mental health, tax deeds/sales, collections  and almost all judicial settlement conferences. Served almost exclusively in family law from 7/1/95 through 12/31/03, maintaining entire family law docket.  Weighted caseload measure of this work was 2.5 judges.   

Legal Experience:
     Partner with LUCAS, HOLCOMB & MEDREA March 5, 2007 to present. General civil litigation practice with a concentration in mediation.  
Theodoros, Theodoros and Rooth, P.C. 3/89 - 6/95.  Associate attorney maintaining an active caseload of 100+ cases.  Family law, torts, collection, misdemeanor, property transactions and guardian ad litem.
     Salberg and Weiss, P.C. 10/88 - 2/89. General litigation associate including civil and felony. 

Professional Contributions:
     Indiana Judges Association Board of Directors - Magistrates State Rep. 4/02 - present.
     National Association Women Judges Board of Directors.  District Director 10/03-10/05.  District includes Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
     Supreme Court Appointed Disciplinary Hearing Officer - presently serving.
     Finalist for Federal Court Magistrate/Judge position - June, 2003.
     Lake County Child Abuse Prevention Council Board of Directors.  1994 - 2002.
     Vice-Chair Family Law Section, American Bar Association.  1992 - 1993.
     Lake County Bar Member, Family Law Section Member.  1988 - present.
     Indiana Judicial Center Committee.  Protection Order Committee member, 2000 - 2007.
     Coordinate and Chair Lake County Bar Assoc. Ethics seminar/training annually and speak at numerous continuing legal education seminars.
     Adjunct Professor, Valparaiso School of Law.  1998 - 2007 (Family Law)

Personal Interests:
     Married to husband, Ken, for 19 years.  Two children: Jackie, 11 and Andrew 7.
     Active church member/parish counsel member, Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
